Morning Report: Jimmy Smith goes off on Ronda Rousey: She gets all the credit, none of the blame

Jimmy Smith found Ronda Rouseys recent remarks to be amusing.

According to the community, Rousey 37 has not had a very positive comeback to the spotlight since the release of her new book. ten years after suffering her first professional defeat at the hands of Holly Holm in the second round, rousey blamed concussions primarily for her fall from the top of the unbeaten rankings.

After losing to Amanda Nunes in 48 seconds during their first fight Rousey decided to withdraw from competition and begin a career in professional wrestling with the WWE. Jimmy Smith, a former UFC analyst, followed along with that and wasnt impressed with the thoughts that the Rowdy one had lately shared.

Ive always said that God deserves all the praise and none of the blame. Ronda Rousey desires it, according to Smiths statement on Unlocking the Cage. “Its all credit, no blame. I want to be recognized for all of my accomplishments, even my losses and CTE. Im the best that has ever done it. However it was never me and always so, and so, and so, and so, when it didnt work. She never acknowledges the folks who really defeated her. It doesnt make sense that I quit mixed martial arts and joined the WWE due of concussion issues.

Prior to splitting from the UFC and WWE, Smith 46, was a more subdued figure in the community. the backstage remarks about Rousey, which were not exactly positive based on other peoples experiences, discouraged the former Bellator voice actor.

Despite rumors circulating ahead of UFC 300, Rousey has made it clear that she will not be participating in any more MMA fights at this point.

“I don’t talk a lot out of school,” Smith said. “I don’t talk about things behind the scenes. Let me let ya in on something. Ronda, if you are listening, the people behind the scenes — camera people, audio people, people you can push around, people you can bully, and the people you can talk down to can’t stand your f*** ass. Everybody behind the scenes that had to put a mic on Ronda Rousey couldn’t stand her. I said, ‘Why?’ They said, ‘She was a b* to us from the moment she sat down to the moment she got up. Like it’s our fault she has to do this interview to hype something or her next fight and she’s just miserable and she’s mean to us and we can’t stand her.

When she was knocked out, they were clapping along. I was informed as follows. You can be cruel and impolite to those people and they wont be able to defend themselves. Those folks were Ronda Rouseys worst enemies. Dont tell me youre the victim while you’re sitting here. while we’re advertising your battle youre treating the poor guy behind the camera badly or you’re shitting on him give me this victim s***, please. Please dont waste my time on it.
